Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy explains how orders are produced, dispatched, and delivered when you purchase from The Department of Mental Mechanics (TDoMM). It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Returns & Replacements Policy.

Production and Fulfilment

All items from The Department of Mental Mechanics (TDoMM) are produced to order through our trusted print-on-demand partners.

Please allow 2–7 business days for production before dispatch. Production times may be slightly longer during peak periods or public holidays.

You will receive:

• An order confirmation email shortly after purchase
• A shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your parcel has been dispatched

Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery timeframes begin after your order has been dispatched.

• United Kingdom: 3–7 business days

These are estimates, and actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays or circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping Rates

For orders delivered within the United Kingdom we charge a flat shipping rate of £3.95 per order (standard delivery). The exact amount will always be shown clearly at checkout before you confirm payment.

Tracking

Most orders include tracking. Once your parcel has shipped, you will receive an email containing your tracking link (where available).

If you do not receive tracking information within a few days of dispatch, please contact us at: support@tdomm.com

Wrong or Incomplete Addresses

Please ensure your shipping address is entered accurately at checkout.

• TDoMM cannot be held responsible for parcels sent to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer
• If a parcel is returned to us due to an address issue, we may ask you to cover the cost of re-shipping

Lost or Missing Parcels

If your order has not arrived within 30 days of the estimated delivery window, please contact us so we can investigate.

In the rare event that a parcel is lost, we will work with our print partner and carrier to resolve the issue and provide a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Multiple Items

If your order contains multiple items, they may be dispatched separately from different fulfilment centres. You will receive separate tracking details for each shipment, where applicable.

Delivery Delays

TDoMM is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Postal services
• Customs procedures
• Strikes
• Extreme weather
• Local disruptions
• Any events outside our control

However, we will always do our best to assist in tracking and resolving delivery issues.
